Deck Turn On When In Bluetooth

is there anyway to keep my deck on when im in bluetooth, because everytime I answer a call my flip out dvd turns off flips down and in and when im done it turns back on. takes too long...does anyone know how to bypass this on a 2009 silverado ecsb lt1 5.3 rwd :lol:

What install kit did you use? Sounds like the telephone mute sense wire has not been hooked up. (Assuming that your deck has one).

pac os-4.....its just that when my factory gm bluetooth goes into action my flip out dvd turns off and goes in....is there a way i can prevent it from turning off (bypass maybe) it takes forever to close and open and it looks hella stupid for some reason when others are in my car

The OS-4 has a tel mute wire that is brown and it loops back onto iteself. This is what is powering down your deck. You need to cut the brown loop and hook the outer wire in the loop (the brown lead closest to the outer side of the connector it is in) to the decks tel mute wire, assuming it has one. If it doesn't, then you may be sol.
