3.5" Skyjacker Lift

Just finished my lift on my truck. It is a Skyjacker 3" lift but has grooves for a snap ring to adjust the height. I set it at the 3.5" ring. I put the readylift 3" blocks in the rear.

Sorry for the bad pick, i think the snow was messing with my phones camera. I'll get better pics on monday. front fender measures 40.25" inches. tires are 285/70/17, probably just under half tred remaining.

Do you guys think if i add the zone 1.5 BL that i can run a 315/70/17. rims are 17x9 offset sticks out about a 1/2" from stock. i dont remember if that is +12mm or -12mm, stock is + or - 24 or close to that.

Lookin Boss I don't know about the tire sizes you asked about, I don't have any experience with them. If you plan on doing the BL yourself and have questions let me know, I recently did mine.

 

Just curious, did you have to get new rear shocks? If not how's the ride?

They said i "don't need" new shocks, so i'll wait and get some in about a month or so. i just finished it tonight, i haven't even drove it yet. just looking at it you can see the alignment is quite a bit out, I'm flying to texas and back tomorrow so i'll get it aligned first thing monday morning.

Rant Alert: The Alignment was the WORST part about the whole Lift process. I got mine done on Saturday so I didn't have a lot of options as far as places to get it done at. After about an hour the guy takes it off the lift, someone else drives it down the street - put it back on the lift and all equipment back on. Half an hour later back down, drive it, give it to me and off I go on the interstate. Truck pulls to the Right, I guess they just hope you'll say F it and be on your way. Not this White boy, back on the lift we go. All in all took about 31/2 hours to get it done RIGHT, with the steering wheel in the proper place. Greasy guy kept getting in and out of my truck all over my leather, I cringed every time I saw him jump up in the cab. I hate letting anyone touch my truck, If I can't do it myself I'd rather not have it done at all.

Moral of the story : Pay the extra and take it to a real PROfessional to have it done. Good Luck

I would think that size is possible but you may need to trim a little plastic with the 1.5" BL. I have the 2" leveling kit up front and a 3" Bodylift. I had to slightly trim the inner fender liner. SLIGHTLY. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

@jacobrivers hey howd you do your bumper relocation bracket to get the front bumper to come up with the body lift?

i got front and rear ranch hands and want a BL so I wanna do it
