Front Axle?

My brother has my 94 Z71 pickup with the 5.7L. It has a 4" trailmaster lift that was installed in 96. My ? is! Did anyone ever have any problems with the front axles binding up at full extention on there trucks? I never had any problems with this before but the right front axle keeps going out and I installed a new one last night for him again but when the truck is in the air the axle will not spin it binds up, if you take up some of the suspention it spins fine. Does anyone have any ideas why this is doing this? The drivers side is fine, and like I said I ran this truck since 96 and it has now gone through 3 axles on the same side in a matter of a year. Thanks for any help!
