Just brought it home this afternoon, 3500+change dry weight or so the mfg claims. Hauled it up some pretty big hills on the way. Don't think I would want to haul anything much heavier with the 3.42 gearing. GM says 7700lbs max, that would not be much fun at all!

Very nice camper. Is that a 21 foot trailer? How many people will that camper sleep? I really want a camper that style.

Thanks. 21' 9" Ball to bumper. Has a queen bed and a fold-out couch. Can sleep 3 easy, 4 would be possible if the two on the couch were smallish. FunFinder X210WBS

very nice, you`ll have a lot of fun with that! I love my trailer but I let salesman talk me into something a little too big, mines 35ft ball-bumper and runs 7400lbs dry, travelling would be a lot more comfortable with your set-up, I don`t relax until we are at our destination, someday I`ll replace my 5.3 with the duramax pick-up.

Pulled it no problem, just not used to the difference in RPM and shifting when using tow/haul mode. Trying to pull the something with the aero qualities of a billboard at 60mph sure has an effect on things. Can't imagine what pulling a 35 footer at 7k+ lbs with a 5.3 would be like. Yikes :D Like I said earlier, GM says my '05 with 3.42 gears is rated to tow 7700lbs but I wouldn't want to.

With my '07 6.0L & 4.10, I pulled my 30ft trailer 5800lbs dry, it pulled it fine but only getting 6-7mpg. I have a new 6.2L & 3.42 setup so it will be interesting to see how this one pulls the same trailer. The 6sp should help versus the 4spd.

That's a nice trailer! I'm gonna get one like that someday... BTW, did your truck sag at all while you were pulling that? Do you have air bags installed on the leaf springs? Or is the truck pulling it stock? (I want to know for when I get mine).

OEM suspension 'cept for the Monroe Reflex shocks. Using factory tow hitch with a Reese weight distribution set-up. With the WD bars hooked up only about 3/4" squat front and rear. No need for airbags and such only about 500lbs tongue weight right now with full propane bottles and a deep-cycle battery. I have a feeling weight may go up a bit after wifey starts packin' it full of stuff. :D
