Dual Climate Control System

Today I started my 2004 3500 with 25,000 on it. It has been sitting since end of Sept with the battery disconected. (Don't drive it in the winter). Turned the air on and set the manual climate controls to cold. The drivers side blew cold air out. The passenger side blew very hot air out. It didn't matter where the passenger temp control was set too. Just kept blowing hot air! Must have a damper stuck?? Or is the controler bad?? How tuff is it to get too??

I had the same problem on my Buick. One shop told me I needed the dash removed and the control door replaced. I took it to the Buick dealership, and all that was required, was for the freon level to be replenished. The sensor that opens the door, won't open the door to release the cold air, until the air is cold enough.

Interesting...I can't even get just the vent (outside air to work on the passenger side) That what made me think that the controler is bad? Anybody know how hard it is to get at to replace?

Problem solved thanks to the Good O'l Internet.. Needed to re-set the BCM due to the battery being disconnected for so long..Works like a charm again...
