08 Nav Into An 09

I tried to search the forum for the answer to this, but have not found any topics.

 

I am looking at buying a nav unit from an 08 SLT with bose, and I am curious if it will work in my 09 with bose and bluetooth. I am sure the unit itself will work, but I am wondering if I will lose the bluetooth function.

 

It is seperate from the Radios/nav units or is it inside.

 

any info would be great.

The bluetooth is part of OnStar, not the radio. You'll be just fine.
