Ses Light Problems 2003 Sonoma

Hi Tech Guys,

Yes, I think only GM can fix this. I have a 2003 GMC Sonoma w/ZR2 option. 4.3l V6, 4WD, Extended Cab. The Service Engine Soon light doesn't always turn on in KOEO. This made it fail inspection. I have an Auto-Enginuity PC based scanner and there are no codes set. I did have the light on for a while this winter due to a failed O2 sensor. Replacing the sensor and clearing the codes fixed that. The cigar lighter fuse had been blown a couple of times due to bad accessories plugged into the lighter port. I've replaced the fuse (#2). Battery was replaced this winter. I've never actually noticed the light not coming on but was able to make it fail today by turning the engine off and on a couple of times. Waiting a few mins the light always comes back normal, lit KOEO.

Is there a computer fix for this or am I experiencing some other issue. Truck runs fine, 97,000 miles and 18MPG on the highway.
