Will GM ever bring back "Deluxe" Two-Tone paint?

I had a 1995 Silverado with the deluxe two-tone paint, Indigo on top and bottom and silver in the middle. I was looking at some pictures of it last night and I wish I had kept it now. Does anyone know if GM will ever bring back the "Deluxe" two-tone paint? I know I would be in line to buy one. I think it would look great on the new trucks. Any thoughts?

Dunno on that one, but wouldn't it be cheaper to get your truck painted rather than buying a whole new one just for the paint job!!!???  :upside: ???

Then if you get a custom job ONLY you will have it, not thousands of other people!  

 

Gotta agree though, my Dad has the 'deluxe' two tone in Gray and Silver and I like it a lot!

I'm about ready for a new truck anyway.  My 99 has 115,000 miles on it and I kind of like the new style (2003).  I usually buy a new one when the old one is paid for after 4 or 5 years.  I bet there are a lot of others out there that would buy the deluxe two-tone.

I think people who like 2-tone paint belong in a minority, so I doubt they'll bring it back.

My s-10 used to be black and silver like that.  I hated it.  When of the fenders had to be replaced I talked him into painting the whole truck black.  

 

I prefer the twotone they have today with only the bottom being painted.

There is a Black (top)/ Silver (bottom) 2003 Z71 at the local dealer here.  So Gm is still making 2 tones.  Not how you want them though (with the extra silver stripe)

it's gone out of style.  it is not profitable for companies to continue doing it.  it did look good, but the majority of truck buyers don't seem to be intereted in it.  also it will not really work to well with the body lines on new trucks.

My last two Suburbans went to the body shop to have the bottom sprayed a few days after I picked them up. This picture shows '02 totally stock and the picture in my signiture shows the two tone (plus other things ).
