1996 Silverado 4x4 Abs Light

My 1996 Silverado has had the ABS light on for abotu a year. This truck runs and brakes fine. It has 315,000 miles. I would like to fix this myself as cheaply as I can as the truck is probably not worth that much with the mileage.

I had someone scan it and these were the codes: C0021, c0022, c0026,c0035, c0037. I think the guy erased them and they came back.

The ABS light and brake light come on when turning the key to run, then after a few seconds, brake light goes off, ABS flickers for a millisecond then stays on.

Once every several months I go out and start it and there is no light. But, as soon as I get out of the parking light on those times it always comes back on, however 99% of the time it stays on from the moment I tunr the key over.

What can I check without having a scan tool. I have almost every other tool known to man.....

Speedometer and everythign else works great as far as I can tell. Main fuse under hood is ok and I cant find a fuse for ABS in the dash.

Could this be a ground?
