Service 4wd On Canyon

I have a 2005 canyon. During the winter I had to pull another truck out of the snow after which it had a hard time shifting back and forth between 4x4 and 2hi. The lights just continued to blink. I then lost the lights on my dashboard switch for the push buttons after pulling the encoder motor to inspect it. They all light up when started but go out after a second. The dealer scanned the truck and said the TCCM needed to be replaced at $700. I got a used one from a wreakers and plugged it in. I got the lights back on the dash but again but they just kep blinking. I treid neutral reverse park everything But no luck. Then I held the break and gave it a bit of gas in gear and I lost the lights again. Now I've got two TCCM's that do the exact same thing, no lights. The code the edaler pulled was a C0327. They siad the encoder motor wasn't getting voltage. I pulled the sensors off the transfer case (2 of them by the encoder motor) thinking it was confused what postion it was in but they were fine. If I removed the encoder motor from the transfer case but left it hooked up it and it spins when I turn the key on. I can get the truck in 4x4 hi by turning the shaft in the transfer case with a screwdriver so it seems fine. I really don't feel like dropping $700. Does anyone have any suggestions.
