PO332 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input (Bank 2)

 

wheres the knock sensors on a 6.0? are they under the intake, what would cause this code, is the sensor bad or is the harness messed up? im lost, the truck runs fine and DOESNT KNOCK... haha.

seems like i have a bad sensor but i need to know where they are, wiring diagrams etc....

ok so the knock sensors are under the manifold.

9 times out of 10, it is the rear knock sensor corroding from water getting in the knock sensor hole under the intake.

Yes the knock sensors are under the intake manifold. There is a data bulletin out that says there is a possibility of moisture entering the knock sensor triggering that code, , especially if you wash down the engine bay and engine (like me).

The data bulleting goes on to say that once you replace the knock sensor you should run a U shaped bead of silicone around the front side (toward the front side of the engine) of the knock sensor, this will make any water flow around the knock sensor instead of over it or into it.
