Seat Headrests

I have a 2008 Silverado W/T, I need to know if I can completely remove the headrests? I don't want to try and have something break im looking to buy some seat covers that require me to completely remove them. Thanks in advance.

one side has the button u push and the other side you need to stick a little somthing (paper clip etc...) i used a small drill bit, insert and pull up
