Been looking on here for awhile now and nobody has adressed this specific lift and tire combo..... here goes...

I have an 09 silverado, I put the 3in rough country lift on and was going to use tires i had but got offered some money for so i sold them. ANYWAY, I was wondering what size tires to go with, that would fit??? I'm okay with the fact of trimming, that said was thinking 275/65/20 or 285/60/20 or 275/60/20??? I want the AT style tires I want

to keep my stock rims.(I LIKE THEM, SOME DON'T BUT I DO) I go off-road maybe 10% of the time so not much at all.

I would like to go with 275/65's ???? any help, Thanks in advance!

I think you can go with a bigger tire then you have listed. Im running 305/50/20s on my truck and it isnt lifted but then they are street tires too. What iv seen everyone run are the 305/50/20s Toyo A/Ts they look really good and really makes the truck look meaner

The 275/65/20 is a 34" tall tire and quite a few companies make those. Bfgoodrich ko ta's was what i was looking at. Toyo's eh didn't think of them also liked the pro comp xtreme mt's...... I don't know????? decisions decisions....

First of all... Take the 3" RC kit off and throw it away/burn it.

Then go with like a 4" Rancho kit and 305/55/20's.

Or a level and 275/60/20.

If you want me to argue about my lift I am not.... Its been on for 25,000 miles with not a problem. Ya got to know how to put it on and also put HD ball joints that are greasable on it in the process. Anyway was just asking TIRE questions!

Nobody runs that kit so your not going to get any confident answers. Personally, I DOUBT that those 34" tall tires would clear, but they are kinda skinny so they might. I think the kit would look better with some 305/55/20s or even 305/50/20s. I would go with the 50s with that kit, but im not sure if they make that in a mud tire or just street tires.

Wider and a little less diamter is going to look better than big tall pizza cutters

thanks! :nono: I think it would be the same price to get a wheel and tire package in 18's than to get 20" tires..... Got myself thinking.. Hate to go down in size but it's only 2"..... I'm not a fan of black rims and that seems to be the thing lately....??? Man who'd thunk it would be such a hard decision!!! Anybody got any pics of a truck my color with 18's with larger tires???? So I can get an idea???
