1990 Ck1500 Truck Brake Issue

Recommended Posts

Posted

We always had good firm brakes, but recently had a left pull on hard braking. Took it to garage and found the pull might have been caused by suspension....had Idler arm replaced, front bearings repacked and brake system bled. No more pull, but brakes were now spongy. They replaced master cylinder and rebled system.....still spongy. They then found leak on one of the rear wheel cylinders and replaced both of those and rebled system. Brakes work, but pedal still goes down further than I like and feels spongy. Any ideas?
