WTB Honda CT70 MiniTrail

I'm looking hard to try and find a nice 1970-1980 Honda MiniTrail CT 70. I want one that is either street legal, or is close enough that I can restore it to that condition without too much work.

I've scoured the net and have found several, but they are overpriced or way too far away. These little bikes are everywhere, and I was wondering if one of you guys has one tucked in the corner of your garage, or if you might know where one is... Please let me know...

I want to put it on the street and I'll ride it the 1.5 miles to work. And it would be a great machine for my 10-year old to learn how to ride...

I am waiting for a return phone call from this one in NC.

I used to have one, those things are sooo much fun. It was a 72 CT Trail 70 with the 4 speed manual. That thing would go almost 50mpg, not bad for a little 70cc. If you want to see my pic I have one posted on my homepage link. Good luck finding one, in the past few years they have become quite the collectors item.

I found one I wanted. The bike is in Michigan and should be on a freight truck as of now. I've only seen pics of it, but it appears to be nice. It is a '72 Candy Yellow, 3 speed Auto (no hand clutch).

I had the PA State police run the VIN because there is no title with the bike. The bike came back clean, so I'll file for a lost title and put the bike back on the road!!!

This little thing will be lots of fun for me and my 10 year old son!!!
