Fs: Volant Cai With Power Core Filter For 2009-2010 Gmt900

I am selling my Volant CAI Kit for the 09-10 (maybe 11 as well, not sure) V-8 Gasoline Engine equiped GMT900's. I took it off because I wasn't happy with it, but others here have installed them with no issues. I would still be running this intake had I not found a GMPP CAI for my truck earlier this year. IMO, it would be best fit with a tune, and I did have a tune done on my truck. Unfortunately, due to transmission troubles which were discovered during my tune process, we didn't fine tune the settings for the intake.

 

That said, The intake is like new, with less than 1000 miles on it. Every part that came with it is included.

 

I am asking 250.00 for it, and I'll cover UPS ground to lower 48 states, or first 25.00 if shipped via another method.

On my particular truck, I experienced a slight rough idle condition, not a skip, but just random drops of about 75-100 rpm. That wasn't really all that bad, but I also had a small flutter at very light load conditions, like maintaining speed up a barely more than level incline at speeds of 45 or so. It was enough for me to try the GMPP CAI when I found one.

 

None of these conditions were serious, and a lot of people install them on theirs and don't have any issues.

I had internal transmission problems that were causing a very hard 1-2 shift on WOT.

 

Mine was a 4-spd automatic. Not sure what yours is, but regardless you should be fine. You'll love the difference after the tune.

Unfortunately, no it will not. The 2007-08 models had a different design on the intake tube as far as the MAF sensor design.
