Hello,

I am new to this forum.

I have a 1997 Chevy Tahoe. The error codes are P0300 P0172 P0175 P0134 which translates to : Multiple cylinder misfire/rich fuel/ no o2 activity detected.

Rough idle. Smooths out a little with higher acceleration. Bad smelling exhaust.

I have heard it might be an issue in the distributor and faulty cam sensor or possibly the spider fuel injector. Issue I am told best guess is in the ignition system.

Any ideas?

I have all of the same codes in my 97' z71. i have found that in the older model gmc trucks the distributer often fails. they will often crack around the ears that you would screw the cap into. this could be the cause of your misfire. When a p0172 and p0175 pop together it could be either a mass air flow sensor fault or a fuel pressure condition. Start by taking a really close look at the distributer cap for any signs of cracks. I hope this helps
