Ac Front Window Defrost

Hello all,

 

I have a 2003 SS Silverado with dual manual climate control. AC works perfectly but when i try moving it to defrost my front windshield it stays on the front vents only. I hear a small ticking noise on the passenger side when it's set to cold AC as well, does that have anything to do to it? How can i fix the defroster or find out if the actuator is out?

Anybody know of which Actuator it could be? and the PN?

Ok i found the Actuator it is, i just don't know that the correct PN is and how to remove it. Can anybody lend me some help please? it's the driver one next to the gas pedal.

I'm having the same problem. I found a blown 10A fuse (HVAC1) in h the fuse panel in the cab. But now the fuse blows as soon as I turn the key to ON?
