Updated Truck Pics

Got a few quick shots of my truck today with 285/70/17 Duratracs I had put on Wednesday. I have a RC 2" level and these rub the ever so slightest bit at full lock sometimes. I love the Duratracs so far. I wish I'd put them on thousands of miles ago. :uhoh:

The pictures aren't great quality because I was running on about 30 seconds battery time so I had to hurry. Throw in a miserable rain and it made for a bad day of picture taking. I got a couple of shots that I hope get the point across though.

Before pic for reference.

Those tires scare me. They LOOK awesome, and they're SO tempting with the 1 year 0% financing at sears right now, but they are SO FRIGGIN expensive. And im super afraid they will end up like my MT/Rs. Super loud after 5,000 miles, really uncomfortable like driving on square wooden wheels, and not last but 8,000 miles before they were cupped too bad to be drivable.

I just put a set of Goodyear Duratracs on my 2004. 2 other guys here at the shop have them. Been wearing great... Have just the slightest hum at highway speeds to let you know they are there. I love them so far. Matt

That's not helping matt! :-D. Seriously though, those MT/Rs (the original style from the Jeep Rubicon's) were the same way. At first they were great, but every 1,000 miles was a whole new experience. I put 10 tires on that Jeep in less than a year. Replaced them all with Grabber AT2s and it was like going from bias ply swampers to an all season that was great in everything I threw at it :uhoh:

If I could get them from sears for 800 installed, I might think about it (600 for 4 sounds better to me), but at over 1,000 a pop? Pass. Shoot, cheapest I can find shipped to my house to let the wife put em on for free is like $230 each, that might not even be with tax and shipping!
