Hey guy's new here... Found some great info on why i can't change my heat temperature,guess i'm off to get a new actuator. Anybody else having a problem with the drivers door not unlocking? When i put it in park the doors unlock,but most times i have to manually unlock it ALL the way to get out of the truck. I also sometimes can't get in without having to hit the key fob unlock button several times. Don't know if it's a weak solenoid,worn out latch,or just something out of adjustment. The truck is a 2000 gmc sierra z-71 2dr reg cab.

This just started happening to me as well. Its only happened a couple of times, but seeing other people with the same issue it looks like it may start getting more frequent.

 

Anyone know the fix to this? How much will it cost?

Has been happening to me too for the last few months. It seems to only do it when it is hot outside. 90 degrees or higher.

Mines only been doing it a couple months or so. The weather doesn't seem to effect mine although it is getting worse...

Had the same problem with my 2000.Changed the battery in the remote and it worked good afterwards.
