Firewall Access Hole

Where did you all run your power wire through the firewall for your amps?  Do I need to drill a hole for 4 guage wire with a grommet, or can this wire squeeze through somewhere else?  Any help and or pics would be helpful. :thumb:

There is a factory installed grommet just below the master cyl,,,,thats where I ran mine anyways,,,,,,Gun

I made a little hole in the large grommet on the drivers side firewall.  I cut the hole on the engine side of the grommet wasn't necessary for the inside.  This was 4AWG wire too.

look in the engine compartment to the left of the master cylinder, there should be a black rubber grommit about 4" across.  Plenty of room to run wires through.  It dumps out under the dash in the drivers side so you can run all your wires hidden.  Also, if you pull back on the door sill it comes off and there's a channel in there for running wires.  It makes for a nice hidden install.
