2006 2500 Extended Speaker Question

I've been digging online and I can't find any info on this, hopefully some one can help out. I have the non-bose non-onstar 6 speaker components in the front doors. Is there a cross over in there? If I put a regular speaker in there will I have to go in and dig it out?
