2003 Suburban Washer Pump

I have a 2003 Suburban with 135000 miles on it.

 

 

The fuses are good as well as the relay. You can hit the washer control and feel the relay kicking so power is not the issue. If the lines were clogged I would expect to still be able to hear the pump, but its silent.

 

Anyone else have this problem? I didnt notice any drop in performance before it quit.

 

Anyone know what it costs to buy a replacement part? And what i really want to know is what can I look forward to in accessing it?

I realize this isn't a fashionable topic, but i will post an update anyway.

 

It turns out that my system is frozen solid. It got above freezing for the first time in 2 weeks here in NW Iowa. Around 3PM I thought i would check the system again just to see and sure enough its working fine.

 

I had just put in a gallon of Rain-X Wind Shield Washer fluid that states "De-Icer" right on the front of the bottle before this happened. Apparently they haven't trained the 12 year olds in their china factory's to mix it right as I bought 2 gallons and put the other in my wife's vehicle and She hasn't had any problems. I wouldnt have thought that a product that states De-Icer and paying a premium price would generate a shit storm, but it did.

 

It is freezing again here so once again my system is completely frozen up.
