i just bought this truck. ive never owned a diesel before. Ive posted here before but i have some more info now. Ill start by saying there is air bubbling in the coolant tank. it gurgles all the time. as soon as i start the truck it start bubbling in there. I believe this would be a head gasket or cracked head. What i dont understand is there is no antifreeze in the oil, the truck doesnt smoke at all and there is no noticable leakage on the motor. but the heat inside sometime works and sometimes it doesnt. My biggest problem i am having is when the truck idles its pushing the antifreeze out of that reservoir tank. the truck doesnt ever get hot i mean it never has gotten more than 180-200. ive noticed when driving the heat will blow hot in the cab and then just go cold. i was thinking this could be a thermostat issue but i dont know. Now today i went to town and the blower switch doesnt seem to work on the heater. I checked the fuses and there all good. I guess its a good thing for heated seats lol i was going to add some of that stuff i saw at the parts store its some copper something for head gaskets its like $38 a bottle i know this wont fix it but i was wondering if it would atleast help it until i can get enough cash together to fix it. I dont wanna ruin the motor by driving it but i kinda have no choice. i guess i just need some info on what to do until i can get it in the dealer???? The truck is in really good shape and has only 151000 miles on it. ive heard thats not alot at all for a diesel.

ya ,not good brother ,

can you get your money back??

i would look into that,

if a present GM tech can get a head gasket or head replacement flat rate for our newwwwwwwbyyyyy .

that would get him to get his money back or sue the bastard who sold it to him
