New Nascar Movie due in 2003

NASCAR hasn't been to the movies in more than 10 years, but thats scheduled to change in 2003 when Britney Spears stars in an untitled project.

The film will tell the story of the daughter of a successful modern-day NASCAR team owner who inspires a former driver to get back on the track. The movie is expected to to feature NASCAR drivers, teams, and competition.

 

This was in the Aug 30 edition. I'm just now getting around to posting about it. I'd probably go see it. I was just afraid after reading the headline that Britney was gonna play the first female champion or somthing

Yeah I heard about this a while back.

 

I guess I'll end up seeing it when it comes out on DVD only because it is NASCAR.

 

And I'll probably regret wasting my money, because it's Britney Spears.

The thought of Britney 'on the pole' is definitely appealing, but a movie aobut our sport with her in it makes me cringe.  Shoot me now...
