Leveling Kit With Spacer Instead Of 5100's

I see a LOT of people using the CCM 2.5" leveling kits on the NNBS and it is making me rethink going with the 5100's which only barely get 1.7" of lift in the front. I searched a lot and only really see threads on what leveling kit they are using and not really the pros/cons. Are there any disadvantages or problems with spacers? I always thought that they were bad because they are extending the stock strut making everything have harsh angles thus going 5100 safer since it preloads the stock spring. If anyone can help me with some information on the spacers I would appreciate it.

I was looking for a better off road ride not just a lift, that was my reason for the 5100's.

 

I am getting ready to throw the spacers back in and use the Bilsteins on the 2nd lowest notch to offset my planned Fab Fours front bumper wieght this spring.
