2500hd Ltz 20" To 18" ?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my post.

I have a 2011 2500HD Crew Cab with the LTZ Package, & of course it comes with 20" wheels, but what I want to do is get some black 18" wheels. My queestion is, will the 18" wheel fit on my truck that came with the 20" wheels? The reason I ask is the front brake system looks a little big, and I dont want to order the 18"ers if they wont fit around the brakes. Any help would be wonderful!

I cant say yes.... however i can say look at the window sticker and see what the stock wheels were(17/18) usually. You should see and package listed that shows the 20" wheels... if so get the 18's

 

If it says 20" stock then overlook my comment and listen to someone else.

 

1500's you can jump around so I would think you could....should....

OK Great! Thanks Guys! Now, what about offset & backspacing? The wheels I want are 18", 0 offset, 5.00 backspacing. Will this be a problem?

Not going to say for sure, but the half ton 18" wheels have about 30mm offset, not sure if the HD's are the same. THere are many people running little to no backspacing, but it can somtimes put a restriction on the size of tire you can run.

 

But I'd find the specs of your wheel and/or the factory 18" wheel (offset/backspacing) and go from there. Just curious what wheels are you looking at?
