Hi guys, Im doing all the parking brake cables on my 2001 Sierra. Im not sure how to isntall the front equalizer cable that goes under the dash into the foot brake. Can anyone help me out with this?

any tips on the Left rear and Right rear cables along with the ebrake shoes that go on the inside of the rotor would be great too as I am replacing those aswell.

The front cable and the pedal come as one assembly. You can't buy just the cable. The whole pedal assembly comes with the pedal/mechanism, the release lever, and the front cable all attached. It's very easy to change and is about $70 at the dealer.

How many cables are there to an 01 Sierra ext can short box? I thought only 3. Front/Left rear/right rear?

Are you replacing the parking cable with the release at the other end? If so I've swapped that out on my 02 Sierra.

Dose it look like this?

I'm not sure. I'll have a look. I know my ebrake cables are shot. I'm not sure if the front foot pedal ones need to be changed too, I might risk just doing the rears and intermediate one and see if it works. Also because they Havnt worked for so long there's a good chance I will need to replace the ebrake shoes on the discs
