Hi. Is there any tips for this? 03 8.1 2500 HD 4x4 Crew Cab

 

Also, the dealer cannot determine what lines I Have.

1st design or 2nd design.

 

My lines DO NOT have the typical stickers like the new ones and therefore no letters like they want.

Mine simply have the EOC Out sticker with the number 0242 or it may be 6242.

 

Im told these are the OLD style stickers and they dont know the crossover.

No one does.

 

My stockers have the black covers for the little circlips.

 

What is the process for changing these? The circlips are not buyable.........you have to buy the whole connector.

I imagine they are reusable?

 

How do these seal inside the connector?

 

I have a picture of the 2 lines I had to buy......there is a bit of difference in the male ends and cover for the clips.

 

Is there a page or anything showing how to do these?

It looks simple enough, but until you do one, you dont know.

These are the 2 lines and the differences.

My stockers have the black clip covers.

 

Would it be better to cut off the crimp deal and replace with Hose clamps?

Seems like a better solution since everyone says they will just go to leaking again.

 

Can someone explain exactly how these connect in and what the process is to unhook and replace.
