Both are 572 cubic inches.  One is a 9.6:1 compression motor and the other is an all out strip motor.  It is a 12:1 compression monster.

Both are tall deck motors to accomodate the 4.365" stroke.  The 12:1 compression motor has rectangular port heads and lots of other goodies.  It redlines at 6,750rpm

To put that in perspective, the Vortec 8100..496 cube motor has a stroke of 4.25" and redlines WELL below 6,750.  Heck, LS1's redline at 6,250 stock!

It's twists out 720hp and 685lbs-ft of torque.

There are other bigger Keith Blacks and Reher Morrison's out there as choices, but they generally start in the $25k price range and top out in the $75-100k for a big 913 cube monster mill.  Conversely, this one you can get at any GM dealer and I would expect it to be less than $10k for a complete drop in/turn key motor!

Here little honduh, honduh, honduh....    :uhoh:

Man!  that is Awesome.  We have been thinking of droping a BBC into a CJ7.  We were thinking 502, but 572 sounds better.
