Ac Delco Shock Vs After Market

2001 2500hd ecsb 6.0 bla bla bla .. Bought the truck used and knew from the get go the shocks were toast. I have a chance to buy OEM delco shocks new for a steal. ( buddy of mine ). How do the stock Delco shocks ride? Would i be better off getting monroe sensa tracks? I do alot of towing/plowing. My truck rides like garbage right now so im sure anything is a upgrade in my situation.

If you can get the delco shocks for a steal, it's not a bad choice.

The stock shocks will be fine especially if the price is right. I put the Monroes on my truck when it was 5 years old and had 25k on it. Not that the factory shocks were that bad but the Monroe's valving is much better. Actually I am running the Monroe Reflex shocks which are better suited to the HD's than the Sensa-trac.

I agree, If you can get them for cheap, they're not all that bad. IF the price is close to a set of say.. Monroes, then I'd get those.
