Couple Of Questions About Lvling Kits

I just bought a 2011 CC Z71 and i have a couple of ?'s about leveling it. sorry if any of these are noob questions but i havnt seen any answers to these

1. Is there any reason i dont see anyone on here running the bilstein lvling shocks and a small spacer? im looking at running the bilsteins at 1.5" and topgun customz 1" spacers. i know i could run a 2.5" spacer and have the same lift but i have the stock rancho shocks and they are wwwaaayyyyy to bouncy IMO so i want to switch them out and the bilsteins look like a good option.

2. i am wanting to run a set of the XD series spys 17x9 -12 offset with 285/70-17 BFG KM2s with the above setup. would i run into any bad rubbing issues?

3. and how high can i safely level a NNBS 4wd in the front without running into bad angles with the front driveshafts?

In theory you could run the bilsteins with a spacer, it would fit but you would be getting into where you would likely have ball joint problems. The other thing is the bilsteins have 3 settings, 0.59" 1.18" and 1.77". I have the bilsteins on my truck and it came out perfectly level on the 1.77" setting, from my measurements before it was 1.75in lower in the front. From my experience then if you combined the shocks and spacer you would end up nose high.

I was under the impression that it take 2.5 in to lvl the NNBS since almost all the kits are either 2 in or 2.5 in leveling kits. With the Bilsteins on their highest setting would a 17x9 with a -12 offset be too low of an offset and cause a lot of rubbing with some 285/70-17s?

Every truck is going to be a little different as far as height goes, your best bet is to measure your fenders and see what you need. I put a 2" kit on mine and I'm still a tad low in the front.
