Door Mounted Swtich Lights

Figured I post this over here since no one in the full size section seems to be able to answer this seemingly simple question

 

I noticed on my 09 that the swtich that I have circled in red does not light up, yet all the others do. In fact I can't remember it ever being lit, and it doesn't matter what position it is in, left/right/center, it does not light up. I don't have anyone with another silverado to compare to and just simply need to know if your trucks mirror switch lights or not before I go trying to replace it.
