Third Brake Light

Hi all heres what i got, my third brake light quit workin last year and i replaced bulbs and even used a test light never could get it to work. 2 days ago i installed elec brake controller using the plug under dash like plug-n-go lol then to the controller well now if i push the pressure test on the controller the third brake light comes on funny huh. have any of you heard of this? what can i do to make it work again the right why thank you in advance

Fuse is blown - inside fuse box at the drivers end of the dash. Labeled CHMSL... That circuit is where the brake controller picks up the signal (voltage) for brake application. Fix the lights and you will fix the brake controller.
