Which Set Of Keys? (color)

2001 2500hd I've been looking at lift kits and leveling kits for this truck.

Some products make you specify if you have purple factory keys or not.

 

My keys dont have paint as the truck is 10 years old. anyway to tell from the vin or if it even matters which set i get the purple or non purple?

you can give the dealer your vin # and they will be able to tell you what color your factory keys are
