Leveling Kit Question

i am going to buy a zone 2" leveling kit. I just dont know if i want to go with the blocks for the rear, i am not a fan of blocks or stacking them i know people have. i asked them about going with a add a leaf. it will be about 1.5" taller than stock when it settles out. one other reason that i would think about doing the leaf is because a friend of mine that works at a local gm dealer said that they are haveing people come in with broken leaf's. seeing as i do, do a good amount of towing it has me thinking. any input would be great thanks Dennis

If you lift the front 2" it will be close to level. If you want to put the rake back it you need a ReadyLift 2.25" block or RC 2" block and take out your factory 1" block.

2" front = level

2" front/2.25 block = 1.25" rake

2" front/2 block = 1" rake

I'm not sure how correct those numbers are. I know every truck is different, but I have a 2.5" leveling kit and a 3" rear block, and I have 1" of rake.

i think unloaded with the AAL in the rear it will ride fairly stiff... if you tow a lot, get a set of ride rite air bags that are adjustable instead
