New Actuator Is Not Adjusting Temp

I received a new heat actuator for the drivers side and installed it based on the info SnakeDoctor provided. As before the unit will switch between defrost, floor and vents correctly, but I still can not adjust the temperature. so even with the AC on, the driver side is still blowing hot.

 

I pulled the fuse, waited the ten seconds, replace, waited the 40 seconds for the recalibration. But still blowing hot.

 

Any ideas or suggestions???

I have the same thing. i replaced actuator, unplugged battery for a couple min., re-attached, turned key to on position, did not adjust ac for one min., then i started the truck and turned the air to cool but it still blows hot on drivers side, but not always. i actually was given another actuator to see if that was the problem, and still the same thing. really tired of this problem, would love to fix it once and for all. it is bleeping hot in florida and i can't use my air half the time.

Same thing happened when I replaced mine, but after a couple of times through doing the recalibration it worked.

The fuse method did not work for me. I had to disconnect the battery, twice. Once for the the vent settings, then for the temperature settings. Since then all has been good. I disconnected the battery for about 2 minutes, just to be safe. Hooked back up, turned the key on for a good 2 minutes before touching any of the HVAC controls and I was good to go.

rdnkcpa, YOU ARE DA' MAN. Your method worked. It took three tries. The last time I had the temp. set to hot instead of cold before I went through the re-calibration process.
