Direct Fit Muffler For Sound

Hi, I'm in Quebec, Canada and I search a muffler for direct fits for 2001 Silverado 2500 LT not HD, 6.0l, Extended Cab, with 6.5 Feet Bed. Anyone idea? Thank you :thumbs:

your not going to get a "direct fit" muffler without having it welded to some pipe to attach to the stock exhaust system, your looking at about $100 for the muffler plus another $50-100 for the labor depending on your area. to make it easy, i would recommend a cat-back exhaust. for your make/model, you can get Flowmaster for $270, Magnaflow for $560, Gibson for $505, GM Performance for $600, or Corsa for $760.

 

you get what you pay for, of course the most expensive (corsa) is going to have the best quality. but if your on a budget and just looking for a better sound and not concerned about the exhaust outlasting your truck, the Flowmaster is a good budget exhaust. installation won't be hard to do yourself, might require some cutting of the old exhaust, but nothing 5 minutes with a hacksaw can't fix!
