I am considering painting my factory w/t black grille red to match the truck, possibly even the bumper cover. Question is will this actually work? I figure I'll have to sand down the plastic to smooth it out prime it, sand the primer, then apply the top coat and some clear. I was planning on using like a 320 grit wet sandpaper to start, and finish with about a 600 grit. I a virgin to automotive painting so am I on the right track here? Also If anyone has done this pictures would be appriciated so I can see if I'll actually like it anyway. Truck is a 2011 GMC
