Carder09 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Well this morning I had no problem with the A/C working, blows out really cold and all modes of speed worked, well get in my truck this afternoon and go to turn the A/C on and nothing, no air blowing out whatsoever, so I get out to check if the A/C compressor is cycling and it is working as normal, so I turn it off and drive on home, while drivin, I turn the knob all the way to full speed, still nothing but you can feel cold air from the vents possible from some air forcing its way through so I dont think the compressor is bad, as for the blower motor, unsure if its a relay or the motor is toast, so if anyone has had the same type of experience, your help is appreciated.
Carder09 Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 Manual or auto climate control? manual, and I also checked all the fuses under the hood and in the lower left side of the dash when you open the door, all good.
ChevyTech77 Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Check for power and ground down at the blower motor using a halogen headlamp bulb as a test light. Lots of issues with connections in the right instrument panel junction block that can cause this.

No the hvac blower motor resistor assembly and connector were both shot, look as though it caught fire or got really hot and melted the two together so i bought a new set for 70 total, works great now
grose67 Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 I carry a big stick so I can reach over and smack the fan motor once or twice to get it going again.
