Differece Between 2007 Silverado Classic And 2007 Silverado

Hi There,

 

I would like to know if there is a difference in the wiring between the 2007 Silverado Classic and the 2007 Silverado. I want to upgrade my on**** to have BlueTooth but I dont know if the wiring harnesses are the same in the two models. I have read that the newer model VCIM modules with BlueTooth will PnP will the 2007 Silverado, but cant find anything on the 2007 Silverado Classic.

Electrically they are completely different means what?...........different wiring harnesses,plugs,connectors,or different in ways of modules? I know a 2007 Silverado will Pnp into a 2009 or newer ons*** module, but will the 2007 Silverado Classic be a PnP as well?

The plugs may be the same, but the way the onstar module interfaces with the vehicle is different.

 

They are not compatible.

Alright, now we are getting somewhere. I understand that the modules interface differently with the vehicles. But what I would like to know is there a different in the connector plugs in the wiring harness from a 2007 silverado classic and the 2007 silverado, or did they use the same wiring harnesses in the newer body styles?
