Tire Fitment Question

Will a 305x40x22 fit on a stock 2WD NNBS Sierra? I don't want any rubbing while turning.

Well the wheels are 20x9 +30 offset

Stock wheels are 20x8.5 +31 offset

 

Tires are 305/40/22 which equals 305/50/20.

These size tires on stock wheels clears with a leveling kit but I don't know if they will clear stock.

I think youre gonna NEED a level kit with a tire that wide/tall.. Closest to +30 is your best bet for offset. If you want to do no leveling kit then you need smaller tire. Looks dumb with out a level kit though anyways.

305/40-22 is 31.6 inches tall...12 inches wide.

 

stock size is 31.7 if you are running stock 265/70-17.

 

+31 is stock offset, i would think it would be really close, but a +40 would make it even better.

You have a 2wd truck why not just throw on a 2" leveling kit? Its like $60 bucks, simple to install, and would let you clear the 305s, which will look better than the 275s.

My truck came with the 20" factory wheels and it is lowered an inch from the factory as well. It has 305/50/20's and there are no problems. I actually thought of going up to the 325's next time, but I am just afraid my milage will suffer and that they will throw rocks all over the sides...
