Ac Fan Will Not Shut Off

"2005 GMC pickup...AC fan will not shut off when i shut the truck off, I have to disconnect the battery to get it to shut off. I'm thinking the hi speed fan relay is stuck closed, what do you guys think. Does anyone know where the relay is located?"

The fans can run after the truck is off but it sounds like you have already diagnosed this as abnormal. Does the fan run with the ac turned off?

Thanks for the reply dlewis. Yes it runs with the AC turned off and it's definitely abnormal

When I turn the AC off it continues to run on hi speed.
