Bass Blockers

I just recently installed bass blockers on my Alpine 6 1/2' speakers in my 99 Silverado, they helped but there is still a little bass (distortion), If I spliced two bass blockers for each speaker would that imporve it?

Not really.  All in all, crossovers are your best bet man.  I went through the same thing you are.  The crossovers really made my components sound better.

I agree with x-overs. Bass blockers (caps) are a passive way of filtering frequencies and also consume more power.  Adding more caps in the same line will change the overall value of the blockers.  Also the Ohm rating or load of the driver(s) will have an effect on the capacitve reactance of the filtered frequencies.  If you do need more caps to protect your speakers, a good stereo shop can steer you the right way.
