Dropping Silverado Nbs, Help?

Okay I don't know a whole lot about vehicles so I just start off by descriping my truck

single cab silverado 07 nbs

4wd, 5.3 v8

 

Okay so Im putting 22 in rims on my truck so I have to drop the back, I took off the blocks but it only drop like an inch and still is not leveled, what can i do to drop the back so it can be the same height as the front without a kit. Im sure there is already a forum like this somewhere but it took me ten minutes just to figure out how to write a new question.

Belltech makes a shackle kit < Belltech > It will change the position of your rear leaf springs giving you the desired drop. Part # 6401

 

BTW - I know you said you didnt want to buy a kit.... But get these and do it the right way for $80.00 and you wont regret cutting into parts that werent meant to be cut in the future.

Can you just buy shackels or the entire kit?

The kit consists of 2 shackles, u bolts, nuts/washers, and bushings. Not much of a kit.

to drop the rear without buying any lowering kit fill the bed with sand rocks gravel until you get your desired stance... or spend the 80 dollars for shackles like stated above...
