Where Is The......

Been having a lot of problems. A while back my auxiliary plug blew when we plugged a converter and a laptop into it. I searched all the fuses and unless I missed it...twice....I couldnt find it in the fuse box on drivers side. Also, when other problems started coming up a few days ago, I went to get the fault codes read and there was no power to the port for scanner either.

Any help would be appreciated.

What type and year is your vehicle? There is a large fuse box under the hood on the driver's side on most trucks.

I'm sorry. It is a 2007 Z71.

Found the auxiliary fuse but not the one for the scanner diagnostic port. Guess I will start taking the fuses out one by one in the morning.

Thanks. Never thought about it being under the hood.

Apparently, after some googling...the fuse is the same for the diagnostic port and the aux cig lighter.

You're Welcome. These new vehicles have a ton of fuses everywhere.
