T Case Differences

i am currently rebuioldiong my np261 in my 01 cc sb 6.0/4L80Echo combo......looking @ another $400-$600 bucks by the time im done replacing every bearing, seal, and snap ring inside....jus wondering whats the differences between the 261 and the 263xhd found with allison combinations. is it compatible with the 4L80Echo.......is it stronger.....is it even worth the time asking if it will work...lol...just a thought....thanks

I think the input shafts are different sizes between the hd and xhd.
