Newbie With Air Bag Probelm

So I got the truck a month ago and I love it. I came from a 2006 F150 Lariat and absolutely love this truck. It's a 2007 GMC Sierra 4x4 with 5.3. It has 70,000 miles on it. I live in GA and the original owner was from Michigan and moved to South Carolina. The Service Airbag Light Came on with the following codes I had a buddy pull with his scanner.

From what I have read it looks like an SDM malfuntion. I don't know why it would throw all of these codes unless the "brain" malfunctioned. My buddy with the scanner switched the two sensors under the front bumper to see if the codes stayed and the code changed from left to right sensor bad. He cleared all the codes and now it saying the front right bumper sensor is bad. The two sensors have the same part number but he said switching them may have thrown the other code. What you guys think? Take it in and mention the recall about the SDM, especially since the truck is from up north? Sorry about the long post... Thanks for all the help
