Exhaust upgrades

I installed Gibson cat-back system on my truck, all in all it took about 1 hour.  I could have finished in less time, but I didnt want to cut the original exhaust, so most of the time I was messing around trying to get the #### thing out.  Pretty easy setup though.  Just make sure to follow the directions and use all tools necessary.  Also, tighten the $hit out of the clamps to ensure a tight fit, and re-tighten after a few days to allow settling in.  Good luck!!

I installed the Gibson Stainless headers on a 2001 GMC 5.3.

Takes a few hours and two guys. Not too bad of an install, but you need to have a little mechanical knowledge. They give an awesome power increase, and do not leak like the '89 through '98 models with a 350.

Hmmm. No leaks from my '89. Not using Gibson headers though. Edelbrock. :thumb:
