1997 Gmc 2500 Torsion Bar Help

Hey everyone! New to the site, but not entirely to trucks! So anyway, I own a 97 2500 GMC Sierra and have been wanting to level it since it sags in the front due to the motor weight. Now I've read about cranking the torsion keys to achieve a higher stance in the front but have read some of the pro's and cons of it. Such as stiff ride and what not, but my question is would it be safe to crank the stock ones enough on my Truck to level it out or would I need after-market keys. Which for my truck I haven't been able to locate online. But could someone give me a run down of how I could do this, the cons/pros of doing it and so on. I'd really like to achieve a level stance to give my vehicle a meaner look, but don't want to stress out the components of the vehicle too much, and also I'd need about 2" of lift to get'er level. Thanks!
